Founded in 2011 by David Owen and Angela Hill, IDEA is a London-based publisher, bookshop and design studio known for its curated books, magazines and objects spanning fashion, photography, art and sport. Through a distinctive editorial approach, IDEA turns everyday cultural references into collectible design objects, and is recognised as one of the most influential creative publishers of its generation.

Reebok and IDEA have come together for the first time, pairing sportswear heritage with a London-based publisher and design studio best known for turning the everyday into something worth collecting. The Reebok x IDEA Club C 85 reimagines the silhouette through IDEA's editorial eye, digging into the archive that connects both brands and finding new detail in a shoe that has never needed reinventing.

THEY GO IN THE DARK

“They Go In The Dark,” centres on the collaboration's glow-in-the-dark detailing, a hidden feature that only reveals itself once the light drops. It treats a design classic the way IDEA treats an archive: with care, curiosity and attention to detail.

“The Club C 85 is an absolute classic. Some designs never need replacing, rebooting or re-inventing,” says David Owen, co-founder of IDEA. “We approached this collaboration as an homage, and found the most perfect shoe in the Club C. The glow-in-the-dark elements add a hidden detail, revealing itself in unexpected moments, much like the references we're always exploring.”
