Rond 2020 ontmoetten twee dj's, Booker en Juju, elkaar in Nublu, een club in Manhattan. Hun klik was direct, aangewakkerd door een gedeelde passie voor muziek van over de hele wereld. In het hart van Dumbo, NYC, maakt Booker met zorg vintage-geïnspireerde luidsprekers, waarmee hij Bridge Street Sound tot leven brengt, hun geesteskind dat deze september gelanceerd wordt. Hun visie is eenvoudig maar diepgaand: een samensmelting van "geluid, muziek en cultuur." Bookers reis in de wereld van geluid begon op jonge leeftijd van 17 jaar, aangestoken door de aantrekkingskracht van high-end luidsprekers. Met wortels in Dumbo en een frequente bezoeker van Brazilië, nam hij een diverse reeks muziek in zich op, een rijk tapijt geweven in zijn ziel. Ondertussen viel Juju, afkomstig uit de Lower East Side, onder de betovering van salsa, funk en de dynamische dj-scene van Detroit. Het lot greep in en bracht hen samen in Nublu, waarmee hun muzikale partnerschap werd bezegeld.

Their travels have taken them to record shops across the globe, relishing the tactile experience, valuing it above the convenience of online shopping. Booker, with a craftsman's touch, tailors sound systems to each listener, cherishing the character of vintage parts. For Juju, music transcends instruments; it's a moment suspended in time. The rhythm of samba pulsates in his mind, a heartbeat of his peak football performances. Bridge Street Sound is their canvas, a celebration of diverse genres, a tapestry woven from global traditions. Their official debut looms on the horizon, promising collaborations spanning continents, from Japan to Brazil. In the Bridge Street Studio, Booker's inaugural creation stands tall, a testament to their enduring love affair with music. For Juju, music is more than notes; it's an experience, a visceral connection akin to the impact of art on a soul.
